Grants of up to $1,000 to Hawai'i schools to support environmental education field trips for K-12 students. Funding is intended to enable schools to provide students with hands-on environmental learning experiences. Grants may be used for transportation costs and destination entry fees. Preference is given to applications from Hawaiʻi public schools.
Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation Field Trip Grants help bring students to outdoor sites where they can experience hands-on learning about Hawai’i’s environment. Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation offers financial assistance to Hawai’i schools that otherwise could not afford to participate in environmental field trips. Most field trip locations provide hands-on learning experiences for students grades K-12 and offer educational tours that can be customized to any grade level.
