-The Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC
GrantWatch ID#: 177411
Grants are primarily 1 year in duration. On occasion, multi-year grant will be awarded.
Proposals will be considered from eligible, tax-exempt organizations in certain 501(c)(3) subsections as defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Eligibility to re-apply for a grant award from the Helen Pumphrey Denit Trust requires grantee organizations to skip 1 grant cycle (1 year) before submitting a subsequent application. For example, if your organization submitted a grant application for the February 2017 deadline and was awarded a grant in June, your organization is not eligible to re-apply until February of 2019.
If your organization's request is declined, this restriction does not apply and your organization may submit an application the following year.
The skip cycle restriction does not apply to the 3 charities named above for which the donor required special consideration.
The Helen Pumphrey Denit Trust has an application deadline of February 1. The applicants will be notified of grant decisions by June 30.
Please submit online applications by 11:59 PM on the day of the foundation’s deadline date. If the application deadline date falls on a weekend or a federally recognized holiday, the Foundation does not extend the deadline, therefore applications must be submitted on the prior business day by 11:59 PM.
Before starting your grant application, please review the funding source's website listed below for updates/changes/addendums/conferences/LOIs.
