Grants to Kentucky public and private K-12 schools for arts education programs and oral health outreach. Funding may be used for program costs, field trip transportation, and travel expenses by arts groups. Funding is intended to promote students' academic achievement and oral health.

Funding is available for the expansion or enhancement of classroom instruction with field trips or in-school performances, workshops, and residencies across various arts disciplines, such as dance, theater, music, and visual arts.

There is no restriction on the funding amount requested per school.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any school, public or private, serving K-12 students during the school day in Kentucky.

All applications must have Principal approval in order to be considered for funding.

Pre-Application Information:

Before applying, review the brochure for each grade level (see Supporting Documents below). Discuss and decide on the desired programming for the coming school year. Then, contact the arts groups you wish to involve. After formalizing these details, apply for a grant online.

- Applications open early October 2017
- Applications due November 15, 2017
- Awards announced early December 2017; An email will be sent to the teacher who submitted the application with a copy to your principal verifying the program and funding awarded.

Once a program is completed, the arts group will send an invoice to the Fund for the Arts, detailing the date the program was provided and the number of students that participated. Your school will confirm the date the program was provided and the number of students that participated in your Impact Report.
