Request a Grant Writer

Award of $1,000 to a South Dakota high school or middle school teacher to recognize outstanding efforts in mathematics education. The cash award will help further the recipient’s efforts through the purchase of equipment or the attendance of professional conferences and workshops.

Daktronics, in conjunction with the South Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics, is pleased to sponsor the Daktronics Outstanding Mathematics Teacher Award in the state of South Dakota.

The recipient of this award receives a plaque and a $1,000 cash award.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Middle school and high school teachers, who spend at least 50 percent of their schedule teaching mathematics, are eligible for this award.

Pre-Application Information:

The application packet must be received by December 1, 2018. The packet must be emailed to Paul Kuhlman.

The recipient for the 2018 Daktronics Outstanding Mathematics Teacher Award will be announced at the 2019 SD STEM Ed Conference in Huron SD (hosted by SDCTM and SDSTA).

Completed Daktronics applications will be kept on file for 3 years from the date of original submission. After 3 years, applicants must complete and submit a new application to be considered.
