Grants to Arkansas, Texas, or Oklahoma nonprofits or lending institutions for activities that will enhance the organizations' financial and banking practices. Funding may be used towards activities such as planning sessions, risk assessments, online banking, various audits, computer hardware/software, branch capture, equipment for CU branches and offices, and Credit Union development educator program for CU staff.

This grant is intended to be an opportunity credit unions can take advantage of to advance their credit union in several ways that will benefit them, and in return, allow them to serve their members and community more effectively.

Term of Contract:

Recipient must use the grant during the calendar year it is awarded unless otherwise specified.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must be an employee of an Arkansas, Oklahoma or Texas credit union or a 501(c)(3) organization that strives to improve the financial educational needs in their community.

Credit Unions are eligible for one Training Calendar grant, one CIF Development grant, and one Financial Education grant per year.

Chapters and nonprofit organizations are eligible for one grant per year.

Non-profit organizations applying for a financial education community grant must have a credit union partner.

Junior Achievement programs will be considered for funding only through the credit union partner applicant.

Not Funded:

- Requests that involve a liability to the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation (CSCUF) beyond the amount of the grant;
- Requests for general operating costs or capital improvement support;
- Cash donation to a third party or for investments in or for the purchase of land and real estate, buildings, stock, securities, or any other similar type of investment;
- Fraternal organizations or religious organizations for religious purposes;
- Political entities, organizations or activities;
- Conference travel outside of the continental US;
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of sex, religion, gender or national origin.

CSCUF Grants Manager will contact you upon receipt of your grant application. If you do not receive notification within a week of submission, please contact the grants manager to ensure your application was received.

CIF Development Grant Deadlines:
Application Deadline: April 4 and October 10
Grants Committee Meeting: April 18 and October 24
