Awards to Alaska professionals to recognize career achievements and contributions to the community. Nominations are invited on behalf of individuals under 40 years of age who reside in Alaska year-round. Candidates must display both professional excellence and commitment to the broader community.

The Top Forty Under 40 recipients will be recognized in a special publication by the Alaska Journal of Commerce and during an awards reception and dinner.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Criteria for Selection:
- Must be younger than age 40 as of December 31, 2020
- Must live and work in Alaska year-round*
- Must have demonstrated professional excellence in their field
- Must display a commitment to the community

*An exception will be made for Alaskans who work for the state congressional delegation and live in Washington, D.C., or an Alaskan member of the military who may be deployed during the year.

Employees and family members of the Binkley Co. are not eligible.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline to receive entries is 5 p.m., Jan. 15, 2021. Winners will be announced Feb. 5, 2021.

The Top Forty Under 40 recipients will be recognized in a special publication by the Alaska Journal of Commerce and during an awards reception and dinner in October 2021 in Anchorage. The 2020 class will be honored on April 17 at Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center.
