Grants of up to $2,500 to Elmore County, Alabama nonprofits for programs in the areas of the arts, community building, shelter, and social services. Proposals can including youth development and mentoring services, home repairs and shelter for the needy, and theater and arts education.

While many factors are considered, priority is given to proposals that meet the following criteria:
- Programs that address issues affecting Elmore County;
- “Seed” grants to initiate promising new projects addressing underlying causes of community problems;
- Expanding programs representing innovative and efficient approaches to serving community needs and opportunities;
- Programs that maximize resources and leverage other monies;
- Projects reflecting the cooperative efforts of multiple agencies within the community;
- Programs that can demonstrate funding plans for the continuation of the project beyond initial funding by the ECCF.

Field of Interest Grants for Cycle 2 include the following opportunities:

Clara Lull Robison Beautification Fund
The Clara Lull Robison Beautification Fund has been established to support the beautification of the city of Wetumpka. It is the wish of the donor that the proceeds from this fund be used to support projects of a permanent nature that improve the appearance of the city.

This fund shall be used for projects of a permanent nature that will enhance and beautify the city of Wetumpka. All receiving organizations will be expected to provide matching funds, which may include in-kind services, as determined by the advisory committee.

Margaret and Auston Bridges Fund for Historical Preservation
The Margaret & Auston Bridges Fund for Historical Preservation offers grants of up to $1,200 to aid and assist in historic preservation activities in Elmore County.

Margaret and Auston Bridges Fund for Arts in Education
The Elmore County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of grant monies for the arts programs or art program participants at Wetumpka and Holtville High Schools through the Margaret and Auston Bridges Fund for Arts in Education. The funds may be used to:
1) underwrite costs associated with expanding students' knowledge or refining their performance skills (e.g. registration fees, travel expenses to competitions, scholarship auditions, etc.); or
2) purchase tools or equipment to enhance students' arts education experiences (e.g. band equipment, art supplies, theatre sets, etc.)

Funds may not be used for improvements to the physical structure of the arts facilities, for administrative purposes, or for professional development of the faculty. Priority will be given to individual student needs.

The maximum grant award is $2500, with the average grant ranging from $500 to $1000.
Margaret & Auston Bridges Fund for Historical Preservation: Up to $1,200

Nonprofits serving Elmore County may apply.

Clara Lull Robison Beautification Fund projects must serve the city of Wetumpka.

CACF or its affiliates do NOT fund:
-Individuals
-Annual fundraising drives, events or marketing campaigns
-Religious purposes (although we do support educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations)
-Endowments
-Research
-Partisan political advocacy
-Regular operating support or capital projects
-Sponsorship of fundraising events

Grant cycle opens July 3, 2017
Grant cycle closes August 11, 2017
Social Services, Shelter awards given in December 2017
Community Building, Arts awards given in February 2018
