Awards to New Mexico companies to recognize outstanding efforts to create positive work environments for their employees. Nominations are invited on behalf of companies demonstrating excellent employee engagement, retention, and morale. This awards initiative has been designed with the following goals in mind:

  • To recognize and honor those companies that have created positive work environments
  • To recognize and share best practices
  • To promote New Mexico and its area employers
  • To provide valuable feedback and data to participating companies that will assist them in measuring levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible companies must have a minimum of ten (10) full-time employees.

Pre-Application Information:

The nomination deadline is April 30, 2021.

Submit nominations using the online form.

Program Timeline:

- April 1, 2021 - Quantum Workplace will provide each participating company with instructions on how to disseminate the employee survey to the local workforce.

Each company will need to prepare a communication instructing employees to visit a specific URL which will require the organization code.

All part-time and full-time local employees should be invited to participate in the survey online. Temporary, contractors or seasonal employees should not be included in the survey. Employees with more than 5 percent ownership in the company are not allowed to take the survey.

The survey is confidential and should take employees about 15 minutes to complete online. Paper versions of the survey are available. Spanish version is available upon request.

- April 2021 - Employees complete online survey. Closes May 1.

- Late May 2021 - Each company is notified by the Albuquerque Business First as to whether they have made a list.

- August 19, 2021 - Rankings of the winners in each category will be announced at a celebratory awards event.

- August 20, 2021 - A special Best Places to Work supplement will be featured in Albuquerque Business First, recognizing all of the 2021 winning companies.
