Grants of up to $3,500 to Perry County, Pennsylvania nonprofits for innovative, collaborative projects that will improve the quality of life for local residents. Funding is intended for programs in the areas of arts and culture, education, community development, environment, and health and human services.

PCCF seeks to fund programs and services that have the potential for the greatest impact on the quality of life and positive outcomes for individuals and families living in Perry County. Through its grantmaking, PCCF invests in innovative, collaborative approaches and solutions to community problems and supports projects that demonstrate achievable outcomes, the potential for replication as a model program, and plans for sustainability beyond the grant term.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The maximum grant is $3,500. In 2018 grant awards ranged from $500 -$3,500. PCCF will not fund 100% of any project.

Term of Contract:

Proposed projects may take place at any time during the grant year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible projects must serve individuals, groups, and/or locations within Perry County.

Applicants must either be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, or have a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization act as a fiscal sponsor for the proposed project.

This grant opportunity does not fund:
- Advertising
- Capital campaigns
- Direct lobbying to influence legislation or funding appropriations
- Individuals
- National and statewide umbrella organizations that cannot demonstrate a local presence
- New staff positions without a substantial plan for sustainability
- Religious organizations for religious purposes
- Retroactive projects

Pre-Application Information:

Grant Timeline:
- October 1, 2018: Application available.
- February 1, 2019: All application materials (both online and mailed or hand delivered) must be received by, not postmarked by, 4:00 PM.
- Applicants will be notified of their status on or by June 1, 2019.
- Proposed projects may take place at any time during the grant year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020.

Applicants may also request one review of their application materials by Ms. Strechay prior to submission; please note that requests made later than two weeks prior to the grant submission deadline will not be honored.

Please Note: PCCF will present grant checks at its annual grant presentation luncheon to take place in Spring 2019 and a representative from each grantee is asked to attend. The date and time of the PCCF Annual Grant Luncheon is to be announced.
