Grants to Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana nonprofit organizations to benefit children in the Greater Cincinnati area. LOIs are due November 15. The Foundation invites proposals in the areas of education, social welfare, health, and cultural experiences. The Greater Cincinnati area includes Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, and Warren Counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, and Kenton Counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn County in Indiana.

Over the past several years, the Foundation has had a primary interest in children ages 0-6 years; though applications are still accepted for ages through high school.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have an IRS determination as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

The Foundation will not provide continuing operational support for any grantee.

The Foundation does not normally assume a major portion of any amount being solicited.

Emergency requests are not favored unless they involve disaster and human suffering.

Pre-Application Information:

If you believe that your organization meets the qualifications, complete and submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through the online system, Foundant.

There are three application cycles:

-LOI Deadline: November 15
-Proposal Deadline: January 2
-Notice of Decision: March/April

-LOI Deadline: March 15
-Proposal Deadline: May 1
-Notice of Decision: July

-LOI Deadline: June 15
-Proposal Deadline: August 1
-Notice of Decision: October/November

If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be the next business day. Specific decision dates are flexible and will be communicated each grant cycle.
