Grants to Wyoming organizations for projects, programs, and initiatives that benefit and protect local wild sheep. The goals of the funding source are to assist the growth of the indigenous sheep population throughout the continent, to prevent extinction, and to support programs for professional management of these populations, keeping all administrative costs to a minimum. Projects should specifically benefit bighorn sheep.

Wyoming WSF accepts Grant In Aid (GIA) requests for projects or educational efforts that benefit bighorn sheep.

Applications are considered twice a year in June and December at the WY WSF summer and winter meetings. Submission deadlines are May 1 (for consideration in June) and November 1 (for consideration in December).
