Grant of $7,500 to an Iowa nonprofit organization or qualified government agency for programs that improve the quality of life for residents in eligible regions. Funding is intended for community benefit projects and programs that will meet the needs of future and present generations. Funding may be used for a wide array of purposes. Applicants must be located in Cedar County.

Eligibility

- The Community Foundation of Cedar County makes grants only to non-profit organizations preferably with 501(c)(3) status or qualified governmental agencies.

- Organizations submitting an application must comply with the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Diversity and Non-Discrimination Policy.

- Grants are not awarded in the following areas: annual fund raising, organizational endowment funds, deficit financing, grants to individuals, or for sectarian purposes.

Organizations eligible to receive these awards will have to provide proof of a dollar-for-dollar match for a project.
