Grand Haven Area Community Foundation - Coopersville Area Community Foundation
Grants to Michigan nonprofits in the Coopersville area for programs that focus on environment, arts and culture, education, economic and community betterment, and health and human services. Interested parties must contact program staff before applying. Funding also supports units of government, educational institutions, and churches for programs that benefit the community.
The Coopersville Area Community Foundation:
- Encourages programs which are collaborative, comprehensive, and have potential for continuity.
- Encourages leveraging and matching grant opportunities involving multiple funding sources.
- Supports "seed money" requests to assist innovative projects.
- Encourages programs and projects focused on problem prevention rather than cure.

The Foundation staff conducts a thorough due diligence process on all submitted grant applications. A follow-up site visit may be scheduled prior to review by the Grants Committee. The Grants Committee is a subcommittee of the Advisory Board who review grant applications make funding recommendations.
