Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation (CSCUF)
Grants to Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas credit unions that are affiliated with the funding source to allow staff members to attend professional development opportunities. Events may include workshops, conferences, and other professional development training and education activities. Eligible events are offered by, or through, Cornerstone Credit Union League or industry related organizations.
Applications may be submitted for a variety of professional development opportunities including, but not limited to, the following: conferences, ALM training, seminars, NCUA fiduciary requirement training, webinars, and CUDE certification. Those wishing to enroll in Southwest CUNA Management school may also apply for an SCMS Scholarship (please note that this is done through a separate application).

Recipient must use the grant during the calendar year it is awarded unless otherwise specified in request or granted by Grants Manager.
Cornestone credit unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas may apply.
Credit unions may receive one Training Calendar Grant per calendar year for professional development. However, a training calendar grant application may include a request for more than one training or education event (i.e. training calendar). For example, an application may be submitted for a training calendar that could include Cornerstone Credit Union League Leadership Conference, ALM training, and Marketing Conference. Different individuals from the credit union may attend different events.
The Foundation will not fund the following:
-Requests that involve a liability to the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation (CSCUF) beyond the amount of the grant;
-Requests for general operating costs or capital improvement support;
-Cash donation to a third party or for investments in or for the purchase of land and real estate, buildings,
stock, securities, or any other similar type of investment;
-Fraternal organizations or religious organizations for religious purposes;
-Political entities, organizations or activities;
-Conference travel outside of the continental US;
-Organizations that discriminate on the basis of sex, religion, gender or national origin.
March 2 for consideration at the March 16 Grants Committee meeting.
September 7 for consideration at the September 21 Grants Committee meeting.
Approval/denial of applications will be personally communicated with applicants by the Grants Manager within one week of the Grants Committee meeting, followed by a formal approval letter.
Most grant funds will be issued by reimbursement of incurred expenses.
