Gulf Power Foundation
Grants to Northwest Florida educational foundations to enhance the quality of life and economic health within the funding source’s service area. Eligible requests may include, but are not limited to, community vitality, human needs, poverty, education, and environmental stewardship. Priority is given to requests that address poverty and education in the areas the Company serves.
Guld Power serves nearly half a million customers in 71 towns and communities throughout Northwest Florida, from the Alabama border, to the Apalachicola River, to the Gulf coast.
The Foundation also donates scholarships to junior colleges and universities in Gulf Power’s service territory. Financial aid officers at the schools select deserving northwest Florida students to receive the scholarships.

The grant is for a 12-month award period.
Applicants must be located within or serve a county inside Gulf Power’s service area and serve the community without discriminating on the basis of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or religion.
Applicants must provide a Tax exempt determination letter from the IRS indicating the organization as a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Unfortunately, the Foundation cannot consider grants for individuals, religious institutions, athletic teams or organizations whose primary focus is to support athletic teams, or grants for political campaigns/purposes.
Grant applications should be submitted by Feb. 15, May 15, Aug. 15, or Nov. 15 to be considered. Deadline dates are subject to change.

Grant applications must be submitted through this website and are reviewed quarterly during Foundation Trustees meetings.
