The Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County actively seeks non-profit organizations that need funding for landscaping projects. These projects can be in neighborhoods, at schools and in other such public spaces.
The Council will approve expenses for plant material only. Expenses will not be covered for labor, mulch, decorative rocks, gardening tools, irrigation systems, garden furniture, water features, statuary or shipping charges.
The next upcoming deadline is September 1, 2018.
The Garden Club Council meets five times each year, in September, November, January, March and May. In order to schedule a meeting of the Beautification Committee, any request must be received at Headquarters by the first day of the month in which the Council meets. Therefore, grant requests must be received by September 1, November 1, January 1, March 1 or May 1.
