Grants to Virginia nonprofit organizations for cultural programs in the areas of art, music, and education. Preference will be given to programs in the Richmond and Central Virginia region. Funding may also be used to benefit children and adults with disabilities and handicaps through programs and projects, rather than for scientific or medical purposes.

Requests for support from an organization which has received a grant from the trust will be considered no sooner than 3 years from the previous grant.
In general, requests for general operating support, capital support, and endowments are rarely awarded. Contributions are not made to periodic campaigns for funds by national or community organizations.
Since the application deadline date falls on a weekend, proposals must be submitted on the prior business day, Friday, March 30, 2018 by 11:59 p.m.
Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by July 31.
Online grant applications will be accepted 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, generally on, or prior to the proposal due date. However, applicant inquiries can only be answered during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST. Please be advised that technical support is not provided on weekends for password resets or general technical inquiries.
