Grants to Minnesota county fairs for projects and programs in the areas of agriculture, agricultural history, and the arts. Funding is intended to preserve and promote the agricultural, historical, and cultural heritage of the state and to increase access to the arts. The AGRI County Fair Grants are non-competitive and open to all Minnesota county fairs.
Two types of grants are available. Fairs can apply for one or both.
All project expenses must directly support the goals of preserving and promoting Minnesota agriculture and/or the state’s arts, agricultural, historical, and cultural heritage.

- Category I. Preserving and Promoting Minnesota Agriculture: $1 million available in equal shares to all of the state's county fairs. For 2021, each fair can apply for up to $11,614.
- Category II. Promoting Minnesota Arts and Agricultural History: $415,000 available in equal shares to all of the state's county fairs. For 2021, each fair can apply for up to $4,285.
All projects must be completed by June 30, 2022.
