Scholarships to Nevada Jewish children and youth, ages 8-17, to attend overnight Jewish resident summer camp programs. Scholarships are available for first-time campers who do not attend Jewish schools during the regular school year. Additional summer camp scholarships will be issued on the basis of merit and financial need.

Jewish Nevada has three overnight summer camp scholarships available. The Welt, Eisenberg and Wilner Funds, together with funds from Jewish Nevada, use the merits and accomplishments of the child, as the primary criteria for selection. For first time campers, Jewish Nevada is now a proud participating partner of the One Happy Camper Program. Jewish Nevada's third overnight scholarship is need-based.

All scholarships are only available for camps listed on the Foundation for Jewish Camps Vetted, master list.

Available Scholarships:

Merit Scholarship:

With over 155 traditional and specialty programs to choose from, there is a perfect camp out there for child. One Happy Camper was envisioned as an outreach initiative for children who are not currently receiving an immersive, daily Jewish experience. As such, children who attend Jewish day school or Yeshiva are not typically eligible these programs (however, some exceptions apply).
