Grants to Orleans Parish, Louisiana nonprofit organizations and public agencies to benefit local communities. Eligible program areas include education, human services, recreation, and beautification.
This program will consider proposals that respond to the following criteria:
-Align with citywide priorities: public safety, children, and families, blight, recreation, etc.
-Demonstrate an innovative approach
-Maximize public access and benefit
-Demonstrate performance‐driven approach
-Capitalize on diversity and inclusiveness
-Leverage other investments

To qualify for Wisner funding, requests must be made by nonprofits or public entities.
Consideration will only be given to proposals seeking funding for organizations or projects that fall within the grant program areas and that provide service to communities in Orleans Parish.
All applicants are encouraged to provide an Occupational License number and Confirmation of Good Standing from the Louisiana Secretary of State along with their application.

Please note: any nonprofit organization operating within the City of New Orleans must have an Occupational License. If your organization does not have an Occupational License, please visit The Bureau of Revenue (Room 1W15 in City Hall). Occupational Licenses will be issued at no charge for all qualifying nonprofits.
Applications for the next review period are due by 5:00 PM on May 31, 2018.
