Chautauqua Grants - The Lenna Foundation
Grants to Southwestern New York nonprofit organizations and institutions, primarily in the greater Jamestown area, for programs and projects that focus on the areas of arts and culture, education, environment, and scientific and economic development. Requests will be considered for capital projects and ongoing programs.
Please note that requests for support of ongoing, worthy programs are favored.

Range of Grant Award: $700 to $100,000
The Foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes and its principal purpose shall be to make grants to charitable organizations, institutions, or foundations.
The Foundation shall make distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations; some, but not exclusive emphasis shall be given to those organizations benefitting the southwestern New York State area.
Eligibility: Applicants must have 501(c)(3) status.
Geographic Area: Primarily greater Jamestown, New York area.
Letter of Interest Deadlines – April 3 and July 24, 2017
Board Meeting Dates: May 10, June 14, August 23, November 15, December 8
- The Letter of Interest is not accepted online.
- This letter should contain a descriptive title for the project, the dollar amount requested, the amount of funding sought or received from other sources, a project budget, and when the funds will be needed.
- This letter must be on your Organization’s letterhead and signed by the President or Chairman of the Board.
- Once you have submitted the LOI, you will be notified of the next steps following The Lenna Foundation’s next board meeting.
