Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) - Chevron Community Fund
Grants of up to $10,000 to West Virginia nonprofit organizations to address community needs in Marshall County. Funding is intended for, but not limited to, the priority areas of basic human needs, STEM education, and workforce development. Evaluation criteria include the capacity for success and quality of the request, direct benefit to Marshall County, community support, need for continued funding, and amount of additional funding needed for project completion.
Funding area details:
- Basic Human Needs: Activites that enhance capacity in local healthcare
- STEM education: Activites that improve access to quality general education and quality STEM education
- Workforce development: Activities that develop the local workforce and advance vocational training

The fund is focused on providing grants to nonprofit organizations that are located in and/or substantially serve Marshall County, West Virginia.
Chevron does not consider grants that include requests for salaries or capital campaigns.
Grant Applications will be available for the Spring 2018 grant cycle on March 12 with a deadline of April 20, 2018.
