Grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 to Illinois and Iowa public and private schools and school districts to enhance visual arts education in the Quad Cities area. Funding is intended for, but not limited to, single projects, year-long curricula, arts equipment, interdisciplinary efforts, and professional development. Grants should supplement, not replace, the existing and appropriate art education budget of the school system.

Visual arts include painting, drawing, sculpting, and similar art forms. This grant is not intended to encompass the performing arts.

Grants from the fund further the education of local children and art instructors, foster a greater appreciation of the visual arts, and help enhance the quality of life in the Quad Cities.
