Grants to Knoxville, Tennessee nonprofit organizations for activities in the areas of arts and culture or community and social services. Requests will be considered from local organizations that have been in operation for a minimum of five years. Requests for capital support or operating support will be accepted. Programs should have a positive impact on the quality of life for citizens of the City of Knoxville.
Arts and Culture programs should play an important role in creating a sense of place, educating children and adults, contributing to economic development, and providing opportunities for participation in community life through festivals, events and performances, interactive classes and workshops, and a variety of other activities.

Any nonprofit organization may apply for a Community Agency Grant if it operates within the City of Knoxville and has been in operation for at least five years.
The original signed application must be postmarked by February 22, 2019, or hand-delivered to the Mayor's office by 4:00 PM on the same date.
