Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $6,000 to California nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for mental health services. Funding is intended for counseling, prevention, and intervention services for youth aged 21 and under. Funding is available for new or existing programs in the North Coastal communities of Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, or Oceanside. Preference will be given to organizations with annual budgets less than $5 million.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The grant range is $2,500 to $6,000.

Term of Contract:

Grants are for one year only. Organizations may apply for a grant annually.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Nonprofit organizations that provide mental health intervention services and counseling for youth may apply. The services must be provided for youth in the communities of Carmel Valley, Cardiff, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside.

Funding will not be made to train adults to implement services or to publish materials.

The Foundation does not make grants for fund raising events, endowment campaigns, travel, religious or political advocacy, or for programs and services outside of the Foundation's geographic area.
