Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,500 Missouri government entities, nonprofit organizations, school districts, and churches in eligible locations to enhance the local community. Focus areas include arts, culture, history, and community beautification, education and youth services, food and nutrition, and health and human services. Applicants must serve the Carthage area.

CCF has an interest in supporting organizations and projects which enhance the lives of Carthage residents and provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs. CCF prefers to provide grants for one-time initiatives & capital/equipment purchases, however, the board will also consider operating expenses if a strong case is made for special circumstances due to ongoing Covid impact.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Total amount one applicant can request is $2,500.00.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches) serving the Carthage area may make application to Carthage Community Foundation for its Fall 2021 Community Grant Round.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due 11:45 p.m. on September 17, 2021.

- Deadline for submission is September 17.
- CCF Board reviews applications Sept. 20-29 & makes initial rankings by Sept. 29
- CCF Board meets to discuss & decide grants on Sept. 30
- Fall Grants Presentation Luncheon on October 21
