Grants of $20,000 and in-kind support to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for projects that advance organizational equity. Interested applicants are required to submit a letter of intent prior to a full proposal. In addition to monetary grants, a workshop series will assist grantees in implementing change and creating an equity and inclusion plan for their organization. Funds must benefit Lancaster County.
Community benefit organizations (CBOs) will join a learning journey embedding equity practices that encourage collective reflection and transformational change. CBOs will engage in a 9-month workshop series designed to guide organizational practices through a lens of equity and social change. The workshops offer fresh perspectives and practical strategies guiding CBOs toward creating an organizational equity and inclusion plan. The cohort will work with a consultant to identify potential ideas focused on building equity and inclusion.

Grants of $20,000 will be awarded upon completion of the program.
Funding Period: July 22, 2021 – July 22, 2022
Workshops will take place on the following dates:
- 2021 Workshops: September 1, October 6, November 3, December 1 (11am – 1pm)
- 2022 Workshops: January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4 (11am – 1pm)
