Mankato Area Foundation (MAF)
Grants to Minnesota nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools serving Nicollet and Blue Earth counties for programs and projects that improve lives, strengthen the region, and promote change or growth. Funding may also be considered for operating grants to build capacity or for organizational transitions.
As a community foundation, the Mankato Area Foundation is always looking for effective program and project ideas that can improve the livability within the Greater Mankato region. Grants support a wide range of projects and organizations.
Donor Advised Grants:
In addition to the Community Impact Grants program, many of the grants to area nonprofit organizations are made through Donor Advised Funds that are established by individuals, families, or organizations who wish to give back to the causes they care about. Though the Foundation may make donors aware of worthy grant applications that could not be funded by the overall fund, Donor Advised Funds do not accept applications directly.
