The Olympic Club Foundation (OCF)

Grants of up to $25,000 to Bay Area, California nonprofit organizations to promote participation in youth amateur athletics. Funding is available for both program support and facilities development. Eligible counties include Contra Costa, Alameda, Napa, Marin, San Mateo, San Francisco, Solano, Santa Clara, and Sonoma.
The Olympic Club Foundation’s mission is to financially support programs which share its belief that participation in organized athletics enriches young lives and develops future community leaders.
The OCF supports a variety of organized youth athletic programs. The Foundation will consider the following
-Youth athletic programs: program costs, uniforms, equipment, coaching staff, facility rentals, entrance fees, team travel costs, player fees for sports teams, etc.
-Development and renovation of athletic facilities

The Foundation will consider requests for support up to $25,000 (please be aware the average grant size is $7,000).
Multi-year projects will be considered.
Applications must include your organization’s letter from the United States Treasury Office stating your organization is tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and "not a private foundation" as defined in Internal Revenue Code Sections 509(a) and 170(b)(1)(A). No grant will be considered for an organization that does not have this status.
The OCF does not fund:
-Unified school districts
-Proposal requests for administrative and operating costs
-Therapeutic athletic activities, academic programs, playgrounds, non-sports summer camps and nutrition programs
Applications for matching or challenge grants are encouraged.
There will be two grant cycles in 2018. Applicants may apply for one grant per year. Please note that late applications will not be automatically considered for the following grant cycle (you must resubmit the application if late).

-Grants Announced: June 30, 2018
-Checks Distributed: July 15, 2018
Grant Cycle 2:
-Application Due: August 1, 2018
-Grants Announced: November 30, 2018
-Checks Distributed: December 15, 2018
