Vermont Mutual Insurance Group
Grants to Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life in communities within the funding source’s service area. Program areas include youth, education, basic human needs, and community programming.
The Foundation invites proposals that benefit individuals, families, and communities in the following focus areas:
-Promote Education: Examples may include traditional and non-traditional opportunities focused on inspiring academic excellence, leadership, and community service
-Foster Youth: Examples may include teaching and modeling positive life skills
-Community-based: Programs that build better communities in which to live and work
-Satisfy Basic Needs: Examples may include affordable housing, homelessness, and hunger
