Grants to Central Oklahoma organizations to meet local community needs, and to individuals in need of financial assistance. Funding is intended to support healthcare, education, disaster relief, and personal needs. Eligible communities are located in the counties of Garfield, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, Noble, Payne and Pawnee.

Funding is available in one of the following categories, with accompanying examples:

- Disaster Relief: Home or property destroyed or damaged by tornado, fire or flood
- Education: School programs, projects, equipment, building construction, renovations projects
- Health Care: Ambulance services, hospice programs, and construction and renovation of medical facilities
- Personal Needs: Projects of individuals that do not fit into one of the aforementioned categories. Projects may include requesting assistance for food, clothing or other necessities.

Estimated Size of Grant:

- Organizations can receive a maximum of $10,000 in one year.
- Individuals can receive a maximum of $2,500 in one year and $500 under the category of personal needs.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Giving is limited to individuals and organizations in Central’s service area. Central serves seven counties in central Oklahoma including Garfield, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, Noble, Payne and Pawnee.

Central has made it a mission to improve the quality of life of those living in the communities in its service area, namely: Agra, Arcadia, Carney, Chandler, Coyle, Crescent, Cushing, Davenport, Glencoe, Guthrie, Jones, Langston, Luther, Mulhall, Orlando, Perkins, Perry, Ripley, Stillwater, Stroud, Tryon, and Wellston. Funds will not be used to pay electric bills, nor will they be used for political purposes.

Pre-Application Information:

The Operation Round Up advisory board meets bimonthly to review grant applications. Meetings are held in February, April, June, August, October and December. Applications are due by the 15th of the month prior to the board meeting. Applicants will receive written notification of the board's decision regarding grant approval or denial following the meeting.
