Grants starting at $25,000 to Palm Beach County, Florida nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, and universities to positively impact the health of local communities. LOIs are due by September 1. The Foundation seeks proposals that ensure that people’s health is improved, their education is broadened, and their lives are enhanced.

Impact Zones:

1) Better Engagement in Health - People have the knowledge, resources, and skills needed to make healthy choices and lead healthy lives. Health professionals have the skills and facilities they need to excel in their chose fields.

2) Greater Access to Resources for Health - People can see a health provider, enjoy good nutrition and have access to other resources in an environment that supports their optimal health.

3) Stronger Connections in the Health System - Stakeholders in the health system form new or stronger partnerships to solve problems. Innovation and collaboration is fostered to achieve sustainable results and when projects work, their model is replicated so their success can be shared on a larger scale.

To meet these Impact Zones, the Foundation supports the following focus areas:

1) Health Workforce
2) Health Education
3) Health Access
4) Basic Needs to Support Health

There are no specific dollar-amount limitations for Regular Grants but they are usually for more than $25,000.

The project start date may be no sooner than October 2017.

To be eligible for a Regular Grant, your organization must meet these criteria:

1) Your day-to-day work must be focused on improving the health of people in Palm Beach County.

2) Your proposed project must match the Foundation's vision and mission as well as the current strategy.

3) You must be able to measure the impact your program will have and be able to show your results.

-An accredited school or university

-A unit of government or a public agency -- typically tax-exempt under Section 107(c)(1) or Section 511(a)(2)(B) of the IRC
