Grants of up to $250 to West Virginia teachers and individuals for educational enrichment activities at Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas County public schools. Funding may be used to assist with travel cost and admissions for student field trips, the purchase of supplies, to pay honoraria for guest speakers, as well as other educational purposes.

Projects should be completed in the upcoming school year.
Teachers, as well as any individual who would like to present an enrichment program in one of the public schools in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas counties, may apply.
If the individual is not a public school teacher, he/she must obtain the permission of a teacher to present the program in that teacher’s class.
Applications for must be received by December 3, 2018 or June 3, 2019.
Applicants will be notified before the end of January 2019 or July 2019 if they have been awarded a grant.
GVCF must make all of its grants to nonprofit organizations. Accordingly, a check will be written to the school where the program is to be presented. The grant recipient will then need to follow the school’s procedures for obtaining the funds.

They may also be delivered by 3:30 pm to Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation office in the City National Bank building at 109 South Jefferson Street, Lewisburg.
