Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) - Alaska Ski for Women (ASFW)
Grants to Alaska nonprofit organizations for programs and services for women and children victims of domestic violence. Funding is intended for services to help stop the domestic abuse cycle, and in particular for services that raise the self-esteem of women and children. Services should promote emotional and physical well-being through a healthy lifestyle.

Tier I. (1) grant award between $20,000 - $30,000. *Please note this level is offered by invitation only.
Tier II. (3) grant awards between $5,000 - $10,000.
Grant funds must be spent by June 30, 2019.
All grant proposals must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Alaska.
- Provides services to victims of domestic violence and their families and/or working to prevent violence through education and outreach efforts.
- Said services raise women and children’s self-esteem, and gains physical and emotional well being through a healthy lifestyle.
Submit applications by August 31, 2018.
Grant award recipients will be notified by October 1, and funds will be dispersed on or before October 15.
