Grants to Cannon Beach, Oregon nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that enhance the quality of life for local residents. Applications will be considered in a broad range of areas, including but not limited to arts, education, community, social, environment, and recreation. Projects and programs must clearly demonstrate relevance to, and favorable impact upon the quality of life in Cannon Beach.

Applicant must be a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Strong preference is given to 501(c) (3) organizations.
Organizations should have a history of providing arts, educational, recreational, environmental, community, or social service programs/projects to the Cannon Beach community for a minimum of one year prior to the application, unless funding requested is for an emerging grant project application.
Former grant recipients who have not submitted a completed evaluation will not be considered for grant funding.
Applications must be received at Cannon Beach City Hall by 2:00 p.m., April 17, 2019.
Only one application per organization may be submitted. Organization may submit multiple projects on the application. If multiple projects are requested, please prioritize the projects.
Grant applications for FY2019-2020 will be reviewed by the Parks & Community Services Committee. The Committee will make recommendations to the City Council at the August City Council meeting. Award checks may not be available until mid-August.
All applicants are required to provide a 10-minute presentation on their program/project on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Presentations will take place between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM and the schedule will be done alphabetically by organization name. At the May meeting the committee will determine if additional information is required from the applicant. Applicants will be notified on May 16, 2019 with the presentation schedule and with any questions or additional information the committee would like the applicant to provide during their presentation on May 23.
