Foundation / Corporation
Whitley County Community Foundation
Grants to Indiana nonprofits for projects and programs that will enhance the quality of life for Whitley County and serve the needs of community residents. Funding is intended to support long-term initiatives in the areas of civic engagement, community development, health, welfare, arts, culture, recreation, and education.
GrantWatch ID#: 180821
Each grant recipient must sign an agreement that includes expenditure of the monies in one year for purposes stated in the proposal.
The Whitley County Community Foundation funds charitable projects that will make a positive impact on Whitley County.
Unless there is compelling evidence that such support is vital to the success of a program meeting priority needs, the foundation is unlikely to support: annual campaigns, political activities, private schools, advertising, religious/sectarian causes, organizations outside the funding service area, and debt retirement.
Grant reviews are scheduled twice a year, in May and December. The deadline for submitting applications is the first of that month, but applicants are encouraged to submit proposals well in advance.
Before starting your grant application, please review the funding source's website listed below for updates/changes/addendums/conferences/LOIs.
