Oklahoma Electric Cooperative (OEC) Foundation
Grants to Central Oklahoma individuals and families in need, and to organizations for programs that seek to improve the quality of life in the area. For the purpose of this grant program, funds may only be used for services inside the OEC's seven county service area which consists of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Grady, McClain, Canadian, Caddo, and Pottawatomie.

Individuals need not be co-op members to receive a grant from the OEC Foundation, but do have to reside in the co-op's service area to apply. Likewise, organizations must provide services to individuals within the co-op's boundaries.
Grants are not awarded for utility or other bill payments, rent or mortgage payments, or Christmas gifts.

The OEC Foundation board meets every six to eight weeks to review and act on grant requests. Applications are due a minimum of ten days before a scheduled meeting. Applications received after the deadline will be held for the next scheduled meeting.
Applicants will be notified by mail of the board's decision regarding their request. Notification may take up to a week following the meeting.
