Grants to Arkansas nonprofit organizations and public schools to support investment education programs for students in grades 5-12. Funding may be used for the purchase of appropriate educational, software, and resource materials or equipment. Award decisions will be based upon program merit, number of students impacted, and other school resources.

The grants are available to programs in Arkansas for the purpose of providing securities/investment education to teachers and students about the securities industry, the stock markets, and investment decision-making. Grant proposals will be considered for only these areas.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The suggested grant request range is between $2,500 and $5,000 although grant proposals for more or less than the suggested range will be considered.

Term of Contract:

Projects must be completed by March 29, 2019.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants are public schools and nonprofit groups (IRC ยง 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations) that provide investment education to students in grades 5 through 12.

Pre-Application Information:

The grant application should be submitted on the Grant Application Form. Attach a completed W-9 form.

The proposal due date is September 28, 2018. Grant awards will be issued by November 15, 2018.
