Grants to Michigan nonprofit organizations in eligible regions to enhance the quality of life and address the needs of local residents. Applicants will be asked to describe the long-term strategies for funding after the grant period. Funding is intended for programs and activities that benefit communities in the Little Traverse Bay Region.

Approved grants are funded during the following calendar year. For example, grants summitted in 2021 will be funded in 2022.

Nonprofit organizations serving residents of the Little Traverse Bay Region may apply.

Pre-Application Information:

The 2021-2022 Letter of Intent submission deadline is June 1, 2021.

Organizations are advised to please contact the Bay Harbor Foundation Office to discuss their proposal prior to beginning the Grant Application Process.

The program and grant cycle begins with the submission of a Letter of Intent. The Program and Grant Committee reviews the Letters of Intent and selects organizations to submit full Grant Applications. Organizations will be given approximately one month to submit their Grant Application, and applicants will be asked to participate in an interview to answer any further questions about their proposal.

Approved grants are funded during the following calendar year.
