Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to New Hampshire and Vermont nonprofit organizations in communities served by the funding source to enhance economic vitality and the local quality of life. Requests for funding on behalf of organizations working in the areas of arts, civic, social services, affordable housing, health, and minorities are encouraged.

The Foundation was developed to fund projects, programming, and capital expenditures, with the understanding that there is no promise or expectation of annual funding to any organization.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The sizes of grants generally range from $500 to $5,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations must not discriminate, as defined by Federal criteria.

Requests from within the Bank’s designated Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) ranch/banking area are given priority. Secondary consideration will be given to surrounding communities in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Organizations must be Section 501(c) (3) IRS Code approved.

As a general rule, the Foundation does not fund grant requests from individuals, political organizations, religious organizations (unless the request is a project or programs that are demonstrated to benefit the community at large), or municipalities.

Pre-Application Information:

Grant applications will be received once a year for consideration. The application period will be April 1-May 10, 2019.
