Grants to Georgia nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of education for local children in eligible regions. Funding is intended to provide support for either instructional or capital projects that promote academic achievement. Programs must benefit the City of Comer in Madison County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Proposals will be considered from eligible, tax-exempt organizations in certain 501(c)(3) subsections as defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Funding is not typically provided to support for start-up nonprofits or programs that are not yet established however, these can be discussed.

Pre-Application Information:

The application deadline is June 1st. Please submit online applications by 11:59 p.m. If the application deadline date falls on a weekend or a federally recognized holiday, the deadline will not be extended, therefore applications must be submitted on the prior business day by 11:59 p.m.

Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by letter within 1 to 2 months after the deadline.
