Grants of up to $2,500 to Northern New Mexico nonprofits, schools, nonprofit educational institutions, government agencies, Pueblos, and Tribes to meet the educational needs of K-12 public schools and the broader community. Programs may take place in Mora, Los Alamos, San Miguel, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, Taos, and Sandoval counties.

There are two types of grants for which your organization or project may be eligible.

-Education Outreach Grants directly support education programs for public school children in grades K-12 (not restricted to STEM).

-Community Outreach Grants still meet the Foundation’s mission and vision of innovative programming, collaboration, and advocacy for lifelong learning but might not be as directly tied to K-12 public education. (Early childhood, adult learning, or community events are few focus areas that fall under this category.)

Education Outreach Grants Available by School District:

The number of education grants given to each public school district in the Foundation’s service area is now based on the size of the district. Please notify your business office if your school has received a grant, so others may know how many are still available to your district. Or, before applying, check with Sally Gallegos to see if grants are still available for your district.
