Grant of $1,000 to a Tennessee teacher to be used towards manipulatives or technology in the classroom. Applicants should demonstrate that their school or district is in need of financial aid. Additionally, the winner of the Mini-Grant must attend the TMTA Fall Conference to receive the award and must speak at the TMTA Fall Conference about his/her use of the mini-grant.



Tennesse classroom teachers may apply.

In order to be eligible:

- Your school or district must demonstrate financial need;
- You must attend this year's TMTA Fall Conference to receive your award; and
- You must speak at next year's TMTA Fall Conference about your use of the mini-grant.

Application deadline is September 1. This deadline is necessarily firm because of the tight timeline.
