Grants averaging $5,000 to southern Douglas County, Oregon nonprofit organizations for community benefit activities. Funding is intended for the focus areas of early childhood education, K-12 education, youth development, literacy, culture, and community. Grants will support communities in southern Douglas County, including Canyonville, Riddle, Tri-City, Camas Valley, Myrtle Creek, Days Creek, Milo, Azalea, and Glendale.
Please note: Proposals in the K-12 education area should not be requests for teacher salaries, basic equipment and supplies, or replacing government funding, but rather for direct student services (for example, enrichment activities).

Multiyear projects are acceptable.
Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in southern Douglas County are eligible.
Eligible communities include Canyonville, Riddle, Tri-City, Camas Valley, Myrtle Creek, Days Creek, Milo, Azalea, and Glendale.
Grant applications are accepted June 10 to July 15, 2017 at midnight.
