Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations for a wide range of community benefit programs. Funding is intended for education, healthcare, and human services for underserved populations. Preference is given to organizations that serve residents of Dallas, Texas, and its surrounding communities.

Term of Contract:

The majority of grants from the Luse Foundation are one year in duration.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Texas nonprofit organizations serving vital community needs are eligible.

Special consideration is given to charitable organizations that serve the people of Dallas, Texas, and its surrounding communities.

Pre-Application Information:

Proposals are due June 1 and December 1, 2018.

Award decisions are made within 3-4 months.

Organizations that receive a 1-year grant from the W.P. & Bulah Luse Foundation must skip 2 years before submitting a subsequent application. For example, if an organization submitted a grant application for the December 2016 deadline and was awarded a grant in March, the organization is not eligible to re-apply until December of 2018.
