Grants to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations and agencies in eligible locations for sports programming serving local residents. Funding is intended for programs designed for children under age 16 or for individuals with special needs. Eligible applicants are located in Lycoming County.

The Little League Fund for Youth Sports benefits Lycoming County organizations that promote youth activity and healthy living through sports. Preference will be given to requests that help remove barriers inhibiting participation or enhance experiences for all participants.

Eligibility:
• Be qualified to receive tax-exempt contributions as defined by the IRS
- Approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- Unit of government
- Non 501(c)(3) nonprofit requires additional vetting
• Use a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit as Fiscal Sponsor
• Have a request that directly benefits the constituency or program related to the fund
• Do not have an outstanding or overdue final evaluation

Public School Districts and private schools, along with their respective booster clubs and associations, are ineligible to apply.

Restrictions and Limitations:
• Annual campaigns
• Costs that were incurred prior to the anticipated grant approval date
• Endowments
• Loans, scholarships, fellowships, honorary awards, travel grants
• Multi-year funding, on a case-by-case basis
• Operating or programs deficits
• Re-granting, on a case-by-case basis
• Requests from individuals
