Foundation / Corporation
Grants to Delaware and Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations that work to promote the social welfare local residents. Funding is primarily intended to support capital projects (not endowments) related to the areas of education, arts, environment, civic affairs, health and hospitals, housing, and social services.
While the Foundation has provided funding for operating support requests in the past, and will continue to provide funding for some operating support requests on an occasional basis, it will remain the exception and not the norm. If you have a need for operational support and plan to apply for it, the Foundation kindly asks that you please schedule a time to meet to discuss the specifics of your request prior to submitting your application.
The Foundation will typically award approximately $5 million in grants each year and has made grants to nonprofits totaling approximately $130 million in the past 25 years.
