Grants of up to $300 to Homer area, Michigan nonprofit organizations for programs that benefit local residents. Funding is intended to quickly respond to community needs in the areas of education, health, arts and culture, human services, youth, and community development. Grants that show promise of helping a broad segment of citizens of the Homer area or help a traditionally underserved portion of the population will be looked upon favorably by the grant review committee.

Grant requests from the Homer Area Community Foundation support organizations and programs of the greater Homer community and must benefit Homer area residents. Mini-grants are intended to be a flexible local funding opportunity that can rapidly respond to community needs.

The Homer Area Community Foundation welcomes and encourages the application of innovative and creative grant proposals that will promote the educational, recreational, environmental, and cultural development of the Homer area.

To apply for a Mini-Grant you will need a valid tax identification number, 501(c)(3) IRS documentation and a program/project budget in a BCCF template which can be found below. These items will be submitted as electronic attachments.
