Awards to Birmingham Area, Alabama business executives representing both nonprofit and for-profit organizations to recognize outstanding leadership achievements. Nominations are invited for top executives who have helped their companies achieve business success and growth. Consideration will be given to strong financial performance, community involvement, role in the success of the business, and tangible results and goals achieved.

The criteria for consideration are strong financial performance, tangible results and goals achieved, a key role in the success of the business and community involvement.

-Top Small Business CEO (1-25 employees)
-Top Midsize Business CEO (25-100 employees)
-Top Large Business CEO (101 or more employees)
-Nonprofit CEO
-Rising Star (For CEOs under 40)

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Birmingham Business Journal seeks to recognize top executives in the Birmingham-area business community.

Honorees are not required to have the exact title of "CEO," but must be the top executive for their business or organization.
