Grant to a New York City nonprofit, for-profit, or government agency for the evaluation of support programs that serve at-risk children, teens, and young adults. Applicants are expected to evaluate the following: how the support programs operate, how they appeal to local youth and whether they achieve the goal of minimizing criminal justice involvement, their success in integrating with social services, as well as their cost-effectiveness.

All five of the Hubs funded as part of the Youth Opportunity Hubs investment will be the subject of the evaluation funded through this solicitation.

Term of Contract:

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office anticipates awarding one contract for up to five years, beginning in late Spring 2018.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

For-profits, non-profits, and government agencies are eligible to apply. Non-profits without 501(c)(3) status are required to have a fiscal sponsor in place upon proposal submission.

Applicants should have experience and success partnering with relevant community-based organizations and government agencies to collect and interpret data; and experience conducting evaluations related to youth development. Finally, applicants should ideally have experience conducting multi-site evaluations.
